Mary P. Bascuk, 91, life long resident of the Birmingham neighborhood in East Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, on August, 24, 1914, to John and Flora (Baczarski) Posan. Mary had been employed in the office at Toledo Jeep for 20 years, retiring in 1972. She was the widow of John, who passed away in 2002, and was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, sewing and her rose garden. Surviving are her daughters, Charlotte (Thomas) Nestich, Oregon, OH and Marilyn (Steve) Robinette, Hudson, FL; son, Gerald (Susan) Bascuk, Maumee, OH; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Frank Posan; sisters, Irene Pasztor and Julia Ward. Visitation will be at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
