Mary F. Boulis, 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on December 19, 2017. Mary was born in Rossford, Ohio on September 8, 1926 to Frank and Eva (Pastucha) Jakubec. She graduated from Waite High School in the class of 1944. Mary was a devout catholic and member of Good Shepherd Church before its closing. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2984 and Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed taking trips to Florida, making paprikas and polka dancing. Mary loved her cats and babysitting her great-grandchildren. What was most important to her was her family and granddaughters. Mary was known as everyone's Mini. Her love and compassion for her family and friends was like none other and she will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her son, Terry (Jeanie) Jessee; granddaughters, Michelle (Frank) Sholtis, Kelly (Lee) Durham, Lisa (Larry) Grant, Jennifer Johnson Jessee; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Boulis, son, Thomas A. Jessee; sisters, Anna Romp, Eva Balow, Frances Schnabel, Margaret Carstensen; and brother, John Jakubec.
The family would like to thank Foundation Park, where she was a resident, for their care and compassion for Mary. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
