Mary Jane Hanely, of Pemberville, formerly of Oregon, passed away peacefully Friday evening, October 22, 2004, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
She was married to Howard C. Hanely. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on October 2nd. Mary Jane went to Lake Township schools and participated in many school plays. She was a wonderful cook and provider for her family. Mary Jane excelled at many arts and crafts but was most successful in photography. She was a lifetime member in TOPICS Camera Club and won a coveted gold metal in Photographic Society of America.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Alfred and Cinderella Zingg, and sisters, Edith (Frank) LeRoux and Dorothy Zingg. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard, and sons, Robert (Joyce) and Daniel (Jean). Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Bay Park Hospital and Heartland of Oregon and a special thanks to Cheryl Brewer, Cynthia Loo and all the wonderful support staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expression of sympathy in Mary Jane's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
