On October 7, 2012 the Lord opened his arms and said, 'œCome with me Mary, I will take you home.' Her many struggles in life are now over and the promise of eternal life has been fulfilled.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on the 19th of June, 1919 to Ukranian immigrants Stephen and Julia Senosky. With the passing of her father at an early age, Mary being the second oldest in a family of seven children, learned the meaning of hard work, dedication to family, and perseverance.
After moving to Toledo'™s east side and attending Rossford High School, she married Harold C. Hatfield. From this union of 64 years she gave life to her four children.
Surviving Mary are Thomas E. Hatfield (Diane, deceased), John C. Hatfield (Kathy), Mary Ellen Brubaker (Butch), and Betty Jane Pavuk (John), sisters Kate Swan, and Rose (Marv) Harrell.
She had the pleasure of watching her family grow with the birth of 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mary is also survived by 'œHappy,' her loyal canine companion.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents, husband Harold, 2 sisters, Ann and Stella; brother, Mike; daughter-in-law Diane Hatfield, and grandson Cliff Smith.
Throughout her lifetime Mary had many occupations, ranging from a nanny and housekeeper, punch press operator, welder, and finally to Jobst Institute, her favorite job for twenty-two years.
A very grateful family would like to offer a heartfelt and sincere thank you to mom'™s caregivers at Orchard Villa and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
