Mary E. Heckerman, 90, formerly of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on April 15, 2010 at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Deshler, Ohio on July 10, 1919 to Ray and Goldie (Cole) Wolf. Mary was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Oregon, OH and has lived in San Antonio, Texas with her daughter since 1999. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Peterson; son, Larry (Deanna) Heckerman; sisters, Pauline Gibson and Velma Fry; grandchildren, Shaun and Kevin; great-grand-children, Alexia and Jade. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Laurel in 1997, parents and son, Gerald. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in N. Oregon Cemetery.
