Obituary

Mary Ann Heymann, 88, lovingly known as "Aunt Mimi" by her nieces and nephews, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Promedica Ebied Hospice. Mary Ann was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 28, 1933 to Wilbert and Mary Ruth (Bratschi) Kraemer. She was a graduate of Waite High School and worked as a Secretary for Ohio Plate Glass prior to her retirement. May Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard C. "Bud" Heymann, Jr.; sister, Barbara (Kraemer) Saylor; niece, Lisa (Saylor) Leonhardt; step-children, Richard Heymann and Pamela (Heymann) Ricciardi. Mary Ann dedicated her life to her family and was loved by all. She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ and enjoyed attending Bible Study Group. In recent years, Mary Ann looked forward to the company of her friends at Waterford Levis Commons, where she resided. Surviving are her grandson, Giulio Ricciardi; step-son-in-law, Antonio Ricciardi; brother-in-law, Carl Saylor; nieces, Cheryl (Jack) Hawley, Mary Beth Dock, Amy (Timothy) Scherer; nephew, David Leonhardt as well as great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held at Willow Cemetery. In honor of this wonderful life, memorial contributions can be made to Memorial United Church of Christ.
