Mary E. Jeremay, 87 of Northwood , Ohio passed away to her eternal home on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center . Mary was born in Banner, Virginia to James and Maudie (Buchanan) on June 23, 1925. Mary moved to Ohio, and met and married Floyd M. Jeremay Jr. of Huron, Ohio They were married for 46 1/2 wonderful years. Mary worked at a printing company and a bakery, until her only child, Pamela was born. Mary had many hobbies. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and painting ceramics. Over the years she shared her joy of painting ceramics and quilting by teaching others. Mary was happiest spending time with her grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart and time spent with them was precious to her. She recorded their time together in daily journals that she kept. Mary was extraordinary in her roles of wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family. Surviving are her loving husband, Floyd; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Richard Hensel; grandchildren, Kayla, Reed and Hannah; sister-in-law, June Hicks. Also surviving are three generations of loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank nieces: Freida Steirhoff, Sharon DuBois, Sheila Spera, Teresa Hansen, Elsie Carty, Regina Meade and Brenda Thomas who continually visited their Aunt over the years and provided so much support during her illness. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, grandson, Luke and all her siblings, Walter, Roy, Wilson, Nannie, Betty and James Jr.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery . Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mary'™s memory are asked to consider the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center- Palliative Care Unit. Mary'™s family wishes to thank, Dr. James Tita, Tamara Tobian R.N., M.S.N., Sr. Maxine and all the nurses and staff at St. Vincent'™s for the care and love provided to Mary and her family during Mary'™s illness.
