Mary A. Jewell, 51, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Genoa Retirement Village. Mary was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 25, 1967 to John and Edith (Martin) Jewell. She graduated from Waite High School in 1986 and was very proud of her East Toledo roots. She enjoyed country music, butterflies and was an avid card player. She loved her cats, Cooper and Hadley, was a NASCAR enthusiast, rooting for Dale Earnhardt, but what Mary cherished most in life was her family. She will be deeply missed. Mary is survived by her mother, Edith Jewell; brother, James Jewell; sister, Barbara (James) Cornell; nephews, Ben and Jacob Cornell; aunt, Esther Parker; and cousin, Don Parker. She was preceded in death by her father. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm.
