Mary Jo Hanudel, 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Genacross Lutheran Services Toledo Campus. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 23, 1935 to Robert and Janet (Hunt) McBride. She graduated from Waite High School and worked at M.C.O for many years and Katherines Early Childhood Daycare. Mary Jo was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society at the former Holy Rosary Church. Surviving are her children, Janet (Willie) Barfield, Terri (Greg) Weislak, Pamela (Andrew) Kovacs, Richard Hanudel Jr., Patricia (Greg Orban) Wagner, David (Teresa) Hanudel, Daniel (Roberta) Hanudel, Steven (Doris Spaulding) Hanudel and Vincent Hanudel; sister, Kaye Tomsic, brother, Robert (Jan) McBride; 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Hanudel Sr.; sister, Nan McBride; brother-in-law, Stan Tomsic; son-in-law, Jeff Wagner and grandchildren, Matthew Hanudel, Billy Barfield and D.J. Spaulding. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday January 26, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Sunshine Children's Home or Genacross Lutheran Services.
