Mary Jo Vaillant, age 57, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on Oct. 27, 1954 in Logan, Ohio. She was a highly educated woman, who attended the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Owens Community College, St. Petersburg Junior College, and Ohio State University. She majored in Computer Science and Art Education. Mary Jo was employed by Tween Brands/Ascena Retail Group as a Mainframe Systems Analyst organizing information processing, including all related peripherals for the world. She worked at Limited Too, Inc. in New Albany, OH, IBM Global Services, Columbus, OH, IBM Advantica, Spartanburg, SC, and First National Bank, Morgan City, LA. She was devoted to her son, Jimmy. She had a sincere love for her church, gardening, art and her family. She was highly respected by her work associates and everyone who knew her. She is survived by her son, Jimmy; and her sisters, Peggy, Betty, Lucy; and her mother, Flora. A private service will be held Friday at Toledo Memorial Park. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
