Mary G. Kepes, 97, of Oregon, Ohio died peacefully on January 5, 2022. Mary was born on May 24, 1924 to Joseph and Anna Kepes. Mary worked at Sun Oil (Sunoco) for 38 years. After retirement, she did volunteer work for St. Stephen's Parish in Toledo. Mary enjoyed gambling, reading, bingo and traveling. Her most memorable trip was to Rome, where she had her picture taken with the Pope. Mary is survived by her niece, Ann (Thomas) Dillon; great nieces and nephews, Thomas (Joann) Dillon Jr., Daniel Dillon, Coral Ketchum and Tyler Kepes. She was preceded in death by her parents; sibling, Joseph Kepes; and niece Karen Kepes. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
