Mary Lynne (Myers) Lowe, 78, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2018. Mary was born at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, on May 24, 1940, to James and Margaret (Krueger) Myers. She graduated from Clay High School in 1958 and obtained her cosmetology license shortly thereafter. On January 28, 1961, she married the love of her life, Dean Lowe. Mary worked as a Records Clerk in the Genoa Area Migrant Program and a substitute secretary at Genoa Area Schools while raising her wonderful family. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, enjoyed western, round, line and square dancing, as well as, the fellowship that followed. Mary enjoyed playing cards with friends and having monthly dinners with her friends from high school which became known as the "Gourmet Club." She enjoyed going on day trips with her husband and traveling with her family. What Mary cherished most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved going to all of the school and sporting events. She was a selfless wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dean; daughter, Julie (Mark) Stahl; sons, Robert (Christine) Lowe, Daniel (Jenny) Lowe; grandchildren, Kallie Stahl, Stephen, Nathan, Adrienne, Mallory and Myles Lowe; sisters, Carol (Steve) Agnew, Barbara Ritzenthaler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Gurney (Edna) Lowe; and brother-in-law, Galen Lowe.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1:00-8:00 pm. The family will also greet friends on Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., Williston, OH 43468 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Allen Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Mary's name may be directed to Allen-Clay Joint Fire District Station 34 or St. John Lutheran Church.
