Mary M. Momenee, 89, of Colleyville, Texas and formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on June 3, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Bertha (Olejniczak) Blus. On June 27, 1944 she married James E. Momenee. Mary was employed at K-Mart for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and a member of the JWH Oregon Senior Center. Mary is survived by her sister, Francine (Leon) Strause; children, Pamela (Richard) Ulrich and James (Patricia) Momenee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nathan (Kristyn) Ulrich, Jena (David) Self, and Tim Momenee as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, William 'œBilly' and James Blus; sisters, Bertha Birtwhistle, Frances Vargo, and Josephine Schumaker. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 with prayers at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Ignatius Catholic church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
