Mary Lou Moreno, 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 7, 1950 to Enrique and Celia (Alvarado) Moreno. After graduating from Cardinal Stritch High School, she would work for the State of Ohio as a Claims Examiner supervisor before retiring after 32 years. Mary Lou was extremely creative, had a passion for Art and interior decorating. Her faith was very important to her. What she cherished most was her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Roger Bartlett); grandchildren, Jacob Allen Michael (Christopher Cherry) Foster, Hailey Elizabeth (Jesse Avalos) Collins; sister, Sally (James) Kurth, Charles (Diane) Moreno; great-grandchildren, Avianna Raquel Avalos, Jesse Avalos Jr., Julian Xavier Michael Avalos; and nephews, Antonio C. Moreno and Nicolas D. Moreno. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Henry Moreno Jr. and Nephew James H. Kurth III.
