MARY L. O'NEILL
Mary L. O'Neill, 71, of Oregon, OH passed away February 13, 004 in St. Vincent
Mercy Medical Center. She was born on June 6, 1932 in Toledo, OH to Gerald and
Marguerite (Sullivan) Lutz. Mary was a high school graduate of St. Ursula
Academy, attended Mary Manse College and was very proud to earn her Bachelor of Arts Degree graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Toledo. She was employed by St. Vincent Mercy Hospital as Compensation/Benefit Analyst for 28 years. Mary was actively involved in the Read for Literacy Program, Parish
ministry at Good Shepherd and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church including the RCIA Program. Her many group involvement's included the Adrian Dominican Association, Women Blessing Women, Women's Faith Sharing Group, Small Faith Sharing Community, Christ Renew His Parish Retreats, St.Vincent's Retirees Group and the Grey Nun Associates. Mary enjoyed traveling and did so at every
opportunity.
Surviving are her loving children, Susan M. O'Neill, Debbie (Roger) Holtzen,
Rick (Emily) O'Neill, Mary Brigid Keefe, Tom (Carol) O'Neill; grandchildren,
David Leichty, Charlotte Menard, Sam Holtzen, Lauren and Sean O'Neill, Paulie
Keefe, Michael, Tommy and Christopher O'Neill; great-grandchildren, Anthony Leichty and Nicole Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy
Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday from 2-5 p.m and 7-9 p.m, Monday from 2-9 p.m. Scripture Services will be held Monday evening at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and
proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St.Ignatius Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Mary's memory can be made to Read For Literacy, ph.419-242-7323 or to Women
