Mary Jane Peppers, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Waterford at Levis Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on October 3, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Lillian (Hudecek) Pokornik. Mary Jane was a Customer Service Representative for Fifth Third Bank, formerly First National Bank, for over 25 years. She loved square dancing, ballroom and polka dancing and enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband of 67 years, Donald. They were very devoted to each other. Mary Jane was also famous for her desserts. Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband, Donald; brother, Frank (Deb) Pokornik; niece, Lisa (Jack) Webb; great nieces, Kayla and Kirstin. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Frances Kersten. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday March 14, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
