Mary E Ramirez, 78 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Born in Wildwood, New Jersey to Thomas and Mary (Cook) Christian, Mary's favorite place to grow up was Corpus Christi, Texas. Working as a Fleet Administrator for Owens Illinois for 31 years, she retired in 2000. Mary was an avid member of the community and often attended the Oregon City Council Meetings and was a NAFA member. Mary loved to crochet afghans for everyone she knew and attend car shows with her husband, Nino to show off their 1968 Nova Mary is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Saturnino "Nino" Ramirez; daughter, Julie (Michael) Hager; grandchildren, Michael and Kelli Hager; brother, Jim (Carol) Christian; their sons, Russ (Nicole) and their daughter Penelope;, Tom O'Connell; sister-in-law, Laura Christian; niece, Natalie (Pete) Mekonnen and their child, Matthew; and her nephew, Tommy Brock (Amelia) and their sons, Sam and Elliot. She was preceded in death by her parents; identical twin, Marty Brock; and brother, Thomas Christian. Private services will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation of Northeast Ohio, in honor of Mary's sister.
