Mary L. (LaBounty) Rettenberger of Toledo and formerly of Oregon passed away on Friday, May 26, 2006 in the Toledo unit of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  Mary was born in Toledo on February 7, 1930 to Raymond and Mabel (Howard) LaBounty.  Mrs. Rettenberger was employed by the City of Oregon as Tax Commissioner for many years before her retirement in 1986.  She also worked part time in the CDC department at St. Charles Mercy Hospital where she also volunteered for over 15 years.  Mary was a member of the St. Charles Mercy Auxiliary for many years.   Surviving are her son, Michael (Shelly) Rettenberger; grandchildren, Ryan Ruhlman, Christopher (Charity) Rettenberger, Rachael Ruhlman and  Jacob Rettenberger; sister, Joan Nelms; son-in-law, Roger Ruhlman and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary K.Ruhlman and brother, Raymond LaBounty Jr.    Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 29  p.m. Funeral services, conducted by Father Albert Ceranowski, will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial contributions in Mary's memory be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
