Mary Jane (MJ) Richards, age 77, passed away on Saturday July 26, 2008 at her residence, Avalon of Otterbein/Perrysburg. She was born in Oak Harbor, Ohio on November 25, 1930 to William and Dorothy (Curran) Baumgartner. She attended St. Thomas grade school and was a 1948 graduate of Waite High School.  She continued on to graduate from Mercy School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Mary Jane was a gifted OB nurse at Mercy Hospital for 30+ years and dedicated her life to taking care of others. MJ loved to SHOP, travel, play bingo, read books, and play music, especially her organ.  Mary Jane is survived by her children Gary (Lisa) Richards of Switzerland, Fl, Judy (Jim) Stewart of Oregon, and Beth (Joe) Wilkinson of Lakeville, MN, and long time devoted companion Duane Hall; as well as grandchildren, Joe, Randy and Ken Richards, Stephanie Richards, Rick and Randy Stewart, Nicole and Brock Wilkinson; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bernice Baumgartner; step-sisters, Patricia LaPlant and Virginia (Arthur) McGovern; step sister-in-law, Grace Perry and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Cyril Baumgartner and step-sister, Eleanor Longsway.  Friends may visit the family on Monday July 28, 2008 at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio from 4-9 pm.   Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 am with interment following at Oak Harbor Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
