Mary Ruth (Dile) TenEyck, 93, of New London, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 7, 2015. Mary was born in Napier, Tennessee on December 30, 1921 to Andrew and Leola (Tice) Dile. She graduated from Waite High School at the age of 16 and then went on to become the first female foreman at Libbey Glass. Before retiring after 35 years she rewrote the training handbook. Mary enjoyed dancing and was an animal lover. She also enjoyed writing poetry where one of her many works was published in the Library of Poetry. Mary was a very loving and giving person who adored her family and will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Judy Kay (Richard) Kight; grandchildren, Buddy (Lorna) Spaulding, Jennifer (Larry) Smith, Andrew Wooley; sister, Edith Seydler; 9 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant children; Sonny and Nancy Wooley; adult children; Michael A. Wooley, David L. Wooley; and sister, Freda Bohn.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
