Mary A. Sheehy, 63, of Oregon, OH passed away February 19, 2004 in her home. She was born in Toledo, OH on June 8, 1940 to Joseph and Agnes (Whitaker) Casey. Mary was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where she was a school lunchroom mother, and a member of the Cardinal Stritch Biretta Club and the Irish Club. Mary also took great pride in being the family caregiver. Surviving are her husband, Patrick; children, Maureen Sheehy, Patricia West, Danny Sheehy, Michael "Buck" Sheehy and Shawn (Tadeusz) Gnida; grandchildren, Jamey, Jill, John, Jordan, Joseph, Nichole (Huber) and Thomas Morris, Timothy Coker, Shayne Hornstein, Casey, Scotty, Kathrine, Chelsea, Tadziu and Jacob Gnida; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Tommy; brother, James (Bonnie) Casey; sisters, Betty (Kenneth) Porter, Patricia Thomas and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathleen; son, Brian; sisters, Kathleen Carroll; mother and father in-law, John and Martha Sheehy. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday, February 22, 2004 from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
