Mary M. Singlar, 102, a recent resident of of Islamorada, Florida, long time resident of Loma Linda, California passed away on March 16, 2015. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 2, 1913 to Edward and Mary (Toroczy) Molnar. After graduating high school Mary married John J. Singlar. She enjoyed visits with her family, solving her daily crossword puzzles and reading. She had a great positive spirit and loved her family. She will be deeply missed. Mary had a daughter Jeanne McCorkle (deceased 1992) and is survived by her grandsons, Jeffrey McCorkle and Michael (Joanne) McCorkle her niece Diane Kovach and nephew Robert (Barbara) Balogh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Singlar; and sisters, Ann Kovach and Catherine Balogh. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.
