Mary Ettie Snider, 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 14, 2004 in Heartland of Oregon. Mary was born on February 13, 1918 in Weatherford, OK to Charles and Helen (Walker) Hardin and married Edward Snider in 1942. She was a lifelong member of Euclid United Methodist Church and was active with the Guild and Women's Society. Mary graduated from Flower Hospital in 1940 and worked as a registered nurse for 43 years with Riverside Hospital retiring in 1983. Surviving are her sons, Edward (Linda) Snider Jr. of Clifton, CO and Douglas (Terry) Snider of Oregon, OH; sister, Helen Snider; brothers, Joe Hardin and John E. Hardin; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Snider Sr.; son, Kenneth; sisters, Mazie Hardin and Zelma Wilguess. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Tuesday from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 pm. Interment will take place in N. Oregon Cemetery.
