Mary C. Swope, 61, of Toledo, Ohio passed away December, 18, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 12, 1946 to Joseph and Marjorie (Bowland) Jakab.  Mary was a graduate of Libbey High School. She had lived in Las Vegas 14 years until moving back to Toledo in 2003.  Mary enjoyed crocheting, playing scrabble, bingo and loved taking care of her dogs.   Surviving are her sons, Floyd (Paula), Mark and Brian Swope; daughter, Tamra (Tim) Sauerwein; grandchildren, Seth, Sam Sierra, Faith, Timothy,  Jenna and Nikki; sisters, Suzanne (Marty) Hayward, Marjorie (Jim) Miller, Paula (Mike) Koperski; brothers, Joe (Lynn) Jakab, Tom (Debi), Steve (Cindy) and Bernard (Cindy) Jakab; special nieces, April Cully and Amy Koperski and several other nieces and  nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.  Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Friday, December 21, 2007 from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
