Mary F. (Sabbagh) Taylor, 70, of Bloomdale, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 11, 2011 in Blanchard Valley Hospital. Mary was born in Toledo on April 7, 1940 to George and Margaret (Smith) Sabbagh. She was the widow of Thomas Taylor who preceded her in death in 2008. Fondly known as 'œSito', Mrs. Taylor was a teacher in the Toledo and Oregon Public Schools for 10 years before her retirement in 2006. She was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ, the Wood County Senior Center and was a proud carrier of the Golden Buckeye Card. Surviving are her daughters, Elizabeth (George) Shively, Michelle (Don) Tuite, Roberta (James) Bodnar, Mary (David) Van Meter; sons, Matthew (Amy) Cook and Anthony Cook; sisters, Loretta Ember, Josephine (George) Haddad; grandchildren, Kristen, Cori, Kim, Maggie, Thomas, Jonathon, Skylar, Taylor, Jamie and Isaiah. She was also preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Norman Cook; grandson, Matthew Cook II and brothers, George, Richard and Michael Sabbagh. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon, Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will begin on Saturday at 1:00 until services begin at 4 pm. Interment will be private. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mary'™s memory are asked to contribute to Elmwood School for the purchase of books.
