Mary Virginia Malloy Engebritson, 81, formerly of west Toledo, passed away Friday, September 10, 2004, at the Sacred Heart Home for the Aged, Oregon, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Defiance, Ohio, on January 19, 1923, to John F. and Mary M. (Krugel) Carter, who preceded her in death. Mary was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Malloy Jr.; her second husband, Milo Engebritson; her daughter, Patricia Stechschulte; sister, Geraldine Thomas, and brother, Gerald Carter.
Mary is survived by her children, Dennis (Dianne) Malloy, Diane (Phil) DiGiando, Susan (Dave) Navarre; sister, Dorothy (Charles) Pogan; grandchildren, Michael, Carol, Jayme, Joe, Matt, Luciana, Molly Ann, Niccolo, Matteo, Jimmy, Dawn, Kevin, Jason, Ashley; 10 great-grandchildren; step daughter, Stephanie Engebritson.
Visitation will be held at the Sacred Heart Home Little Sisters of the Poor, 930 S.Wynn Road, Oregon, on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Private entombment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
