Mary Louise Verdin 7/30/1932 – 12/29/2022 Mary Louise Verdin, 90, of Perrysburg Ohio passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Mary was born July 30, 1932, in Coleman, Texas to Primitivo and Margarita Gutierrez, Jr.

Mary had a fulfilling life and was always surrounded by family and friends. Someone was always visiting or calling to check in on her. One of Mary's favorite joys was cooking for everyone. She was seemingly always in the kitchen cooking for those around her or coming to visit. Mary was a generous woman and always willing to help or share what she had with others. In her later years, Mary lived with her daughter Mary and was well cared for. She led an active life including going on vacations and taking day trips with her daughter's family. She was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Northwood Congregation and enjoyed attending services when she was able. Mary was loved and will be missed by those who knew her.

Mary is survived by her children Rose (Larry) Maxwell, Mary (Thomas) Flowers, and Raymond (Doreen); daughter-in-law Sandy Billegas; siblings Estella Teniente, Michael Gutierrez, and Mary Garza; grandchildren Carl, Carrie, Kimberly, Charles, Robert, Cindy, Pamela, Josie, Amanda, Heaven, Alexander, Brianna, Nathaniel, Faith, and Thomas; sisters-in-law Estella Gutierrez and Herlinda Gutierrez; 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son, Antonio Billegas; grandson Tony; sisters Olivia (Antonio) Billegas and Hortense (Jose) Ramon; brothers Guadalupe and Joe Gutierrez; brothers-in-law Ramon Garza and Alfonso Teniente, Sr.

Mary's family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care and compassion.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. The family will also greet friends in the funeral home on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m.
