Mary Jo Walsh, 85, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Otterbein Portage Valley. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 6, 1931 to Walter and Theresa (Quinn) Hermann. Mary was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to knit and sew. Mary is survived by her children, Thomas Walsh, Mary Kate Walsh, Michael (Tonya) Walsh, Terry Walsh, Maureen (Roger) Ford, Timothy (Kim) Walsh and Martin (Rachel) Walsh; 16 grandchildren; brother, James (Diane) Hermann; sisters, Margaret Younkman and Rita (Mel) Reinhart; brother-in-laws, Jim Bick, Jim Shrader and Maurice Flynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walsh; parents; sisters, Kathleen Flynn, Carol Bick and Ruth Shrader; and brother-in-law, Arnold Younkman. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Visitation will also take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner Street, Walbridge, Ohio, from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
