Mary C. Wininger, 83, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 1, 2006, in Manor of Perrysburg surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Allendale, Illinois on June 23, 1922, to Norman and Susie (McLin) Leek. On March 29, 1942, she married Louie Wininger and they were married for 60 years, before he preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Wininger was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, the Womens Guild and Golden Gang, the Zenobia Shrine Jeepster Unit, IBEW Local #8 Retirees Group. Mary also played canasta for over 50 years but her true love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (Dean) Potratz and Marilyn (Don) Rinehart; son, Robert (Linda)Wininger; grandchildren, Kim (John) Merline, Gregory (Wendy) Rinehart, Megan Potratz, Heidi Wininger, Amy Potratz; great-grandchildren, Jack, Mattie, Joey, Evan, Ellie and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road where visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and continue until services begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
