It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Lee Hartford Sr., who left this world on February 24, 2024, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on March 17, 1986, in Findlay, Ohio to Robert Hartford Jr. (61yrs) and Teresa Evans (deceased). Matthew was a beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Matthew's legacy lives on through his children: Cataleana Hartford (20 years old), Robert Hartford III, (19yrs), Matthew Hartford Jr. (15) Madison Hartford (10yrs) ; and his granddaughter Amor'rianna. With 3 siblings Matthew was closest with his brother Marquis Hartford (25yrs).

Matthew was a sincere, hard headed, stubborn, man who would do anything for his family and the ones he loved. You can describe Matthew in many ways but there is no denial that he was a funny, silly jokester who definitely knew how to put a smile on your face and make you laugh by walking into the room even in the worst-case situations. He loved riding motorcycles, working on cars, and watching the Dallas Cowboys games. It is a deeply heartbreaking shock for his loved ones and his presence will deeply be missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral services at 1;00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Ohio where he will be laid to rest close to his mother.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in matt's memory are asked to consider his children.
