Maureen Ferguson, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 31, 1952 to Frank and Nellie (Burnett) Hackl. Maureen graduated from Waite High School and shortly after married the love of her life, Edward Ferguson. She worked in the accounting department at the Toledo Blade from 1970-1974 and then became a stay at home mom. She enjoyed collecting sea shells, paperweights and holiday nut crackers. What Maureen cherished most was her family, especially her grandchildren. Maureen is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward; children, Stacy Ferguson, Reneé (Bhanoo) Sharma, Scott Ferguson; grandchildren, Chaz, Allyson, Brandon, Devin and Lilly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Rose Marie Strayer and Frank Hackl. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm.
