James A. Weber Sr., 73, of Oregon, OH passed away December 17, 2006, at Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Swanton, OH on March 9, 1933 to Howard and Ruth (Fuller) Weber. Jim was a veteran of US Marine Corp, serving during the Korean War. He was employed as conductor-brakeman by ConRail for 30 years. Jim loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving is his special long-time companion, Naida Kay Shively; children, Jim Jr., Danny (Judy) and Valerie (Chris) Petry; step-daughter, Diane Cutlip; sister, Joyce (Dale) Fravor; brothers, Howard (Bert), Don (Delsie) and Kenny (Ruth) Weber; former wife, Carolyn Gingrich and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Robin K. Panos; brother, John; sisters, Roseann Frees, Evelyn Huber and Lila Ellinger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 12 pm until the funeral service time at 4 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Expressions of sympathy in Jim's memory can be made to Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg.
