Maynard E. Rieth, 76, of Toledo, OH, passed away November 11, 2004, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo on May 3, 1928, to Leonard and Ruth (Textor) Rieth. Mr. Rieth was employed at the Libby Owens Ford, Rossford Plant, for 44 years before his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Army. Maynard was an avid precious stone collector and enjoyed taking long walks, many times at Pearson Park. Surviving are his sister, Jeanette Rieth; cousin, Beverly Lantz; several other relatives, friends and neighbors and special friend, Marcia Skaggs. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2004, from 2 until 9 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
