Meguire J. Smith, 9, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 surrounded by his family. Meguire was born on October 15, 2000 in Oregon, Ohio to Joshua and Christieanne (Rost) Smith. He was a 3rd grade student at Edgewater Elementary in Point Place and e njoyed gaming with XBOX, Playstation and Wii. Meguire also loved collecting Matchbox Cars, coloring, music and watching TV and movies. Surviving are his parents, Joshua J. and Christieanne; brother, Dominick R.: grandparents, Wanda and Louie Rost Sr., Michelle (Dave) Fowler and Keith Smith; great-grandparents, Mildred Rost, Marge Guess, Marv and Shirley Smith; step-grandparents, Glenn and Mary Burns; uncles, Jacob (Megan Boyd) Smith and Louie (Bethany) Rost Jr. and aunt, Jennifer Brown. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11 am in Martin Luther Lutheran Church 601 Nevada St. Toledo , Ohio with Rev. Larry Michaels officiating. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Martin Luther Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes.
