Melinda E. Avery, 36, of Napoleon, Ohio, went to be with the angels, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 18, 1974 to Dan and Nancy (Suttles) Avery. Melinda was a 31 year resident of Filling Home of Mercy, Napoleon. The family wishes to reach out and give a heartfelt Thank You to all of the loving people that took care of her, especially the nursing staff at Filling Home of Mercy and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. We can'™t say enough about the special care you provided her with. Melinda is survived by her parents, Dan and Nancy; sisters, Michele (Steven) Cedoz and Melissa (Chad) Pollauf; nephews, Lucas, Travis, and Kurtis Cedoz, Brock Pollauf; niece, Ashley Pollauf; and grandmother, Euzella Allison. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack M. and Norma C. Avery. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday in the funeral home with interment following at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
