Merri-Jo TenEyck, age 47, passed away suddenly Sunday, July 12, 2009, in her Perrysburg home. She was an LPN who retired on disability due to health problems. She had been plagued by various health problems since high school. She always managed to bounce back and she made friends wherever she went. She was a member of Cedar Creek Church. Merri-Jo was loved by the children at the after school program at the Summit Street Y, by the neighborhood kids, and by her nieces and nephews. She was fun-loving and children were especially attracted to her. She is survived by her mother, Martha TenEyck; sister, Terri (Terry) Thomas of Zephyhills, FL; brother, John Jr. (Jane) of Oregon, Jim (Ann) of Whitehouse, Scott (Sue) of Millbury; and 14 nieces and nephews. Merri-Jo was preceded in death by her father, John Sr. (Bill); grandparents, George and Eileen Leisenheimer, John A. TenEyck, and Delcie Smart TenEyck. Friends and family may visit Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider either the Alzheimer's Associaton or the Autism Society of Northwestern Ohio.
