On January 28th, 2024, Michael Dandar, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 79. Michael was born on March 1, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Ann Dandar. Michael married Frances Toka and together they celebrated 52 loving years of marriage.

Michael spent 31 years at Jeep as a dedicated employee. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished his time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies included keeping a large garden, coin collecting and old movies. Michael will be remembered for his intense love of his family, resilience, wonderful cooking ability and infectious smile and laugh.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; father, John; mother, Ann; and brother-in-law, Joe. He is survived by his siblings, Rosie Katona, John (Maggie) Dandar, and Mary Ellen (Mike) Johnston; children, Robert (Robyn) Dandar, Jeffery (Nita) Dandar, Tamara (Tony) Nepomuceno; grandchildren, Thomas (Laurie) Nepomuceno, Andrew Nepomuceno, Samantha (Trevor) Deeter, Breann (Justin) Dandar-Stevens, Nicholas Dandar; and great-grandchildren, Lennon and Lyrik Deeter.

Per Michael's wishes, burial will be private for the family.
