Michael J. McGaharan, 38, of Northwood, Ohio passed away peacefully March 25, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 14, 1974 to John Jr. and Margaret (Grindle) McGaharan. Mike was a 1992 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School. He was employed at Taylor Nelson Sofres for 14 years. Mike enjoyed playing hockey and was a big New Jersey Devils fan. He was a huge history buff and spent many hours reading. Mike had a passion for assembling model air planes. Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Gina; step children, Paige (Bret) Reynolds and Trent Garee; parents, John and Margaret; siblings, John III (Kelly), Maria (Tom) Kutchenriter, Patrick, Albert (Teresa), Peggy (JoEllen) McGaharan, Ann (Michael) Studer and Christina (Jamie) Cruz; many loving nieces and nephews, and his dog, Bailey. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday and Friday, March 29 & 30, 2012 from 2:00 ��" 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Toledo Humane Society. Visitation: Thursday & Friday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.
