Michael E. Moore, 80, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on June 29, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 20, 1941 to Michael and Hazel (Granger) Moore. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and Reserves retiring after 31 years of service. He also worked as a painter through Local 7 for over 30 years. Michael married Rebecca (Norrell) on May 28, 1977. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and being involved with the Webelos and Cub Scouts. Michael and his wife spent many hours volunteering at the Cherry Street Mission. What he cherished most was spending time with his granddaughter. Michael is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rebecca; daughter, Aurdrey Clapsaddle; son, Jon (Tracey) Moore; grandchildren, Billy Grigson, Ida Grigson, Jeremy Grigson; granddaughters, Jocelyn Moore, Alaina Brewer; and great-grandson, Will Grigson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don, Tom and Tim Moore. Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
