Michael D. Shepherd, 51, of Northwood, OH passed away September 12, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Dimmer and Barbara (Hame) Shepherd. Mike was a U. S. Navy Veteran serving his country during the Viet Nam Era. He worked as an engineer for over 20 years with First Energy Corp. at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant. Mike enjoyed woodworking, fishing and was a avid golfer. Surviving are his wife, Katherine T.; children, Christine M. and David A. Shepherd; mother, Barbara Shepherd; mother-in-law, Mary Jasinski; sisters, Linda (Ken) Cluckey, Brenda Lopez and Lucy (Fred) Lange; brother, Charles (Lisa) Shepherd and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-9 pm and Monday from 2-9 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH. where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
