Michael P. Sullivan, 62, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away December 9, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Independence, Missouri on October 12, 1949 to Michael P. and Lola (Loxterman) Sullivan. Mike was the 2nd generation owner and operator of Sullivan Moving & Storage, which has been in business since 1950. He served as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War. Michael was a member of the American Moving & Storage Association as well as the Ohio Association of Movers. Throughout his career he received numerous awards and industry recognition during the 62 years of business. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in his motor coach with his wife and his Westies; meeting new people and making many friends along the way, but his real love was spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife, Pam; daughters, Tracy (Keith) Michalak, Michelle (Vincent Wilkinson) Sullivan, Heather (Rory 'œPJ') Sullivan-Earl, Shannon (Joseph) Sarkisian and Maura (Nicholas) Sandys; grandchildren, Samantha, Madisyn, Michael Vincent, Sloane, Sullivan, Sophia, Joseph Wyatt, Ann Marie and Miles; lifelong childhood friend, Anson Schultz. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
