Michael W. Voigt, 49, of Custar, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his residence. Mike was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 9, 1969 to William and Kathryn (Lake) Voigt. He was employed with the Chrysler Corporation for the past 20 years. Mike enjoyed barbequing for his family and friends and was a dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. An avid outdoorsman, Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting fireworks. His true passion was spending time with his daughter, Erika and dog, Rosa. Mike is survived by his wife of 12 years, Kimberly; mother, Kathryn Farmer (Richard); father, William Voigt (JoAnn); daughters, Erika Voigt and Nya Morris; siblings, Wendy (John) Santiago, Marty (Robin) Voigt, and Jeffrey (Susan Ulm) Voigt; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to Mike's family.
