Mike Warner, 76, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on December 9, 2022 at Otterbein Portage Valley in Pemberville. Mike was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 1, 1946 to Newell and Frances (Luce) Warner. He was a graduate of Northwood High School, attended Terra Community College where he earned his welding certification. He was an advanced EMT and firefighter for 20 years before retiring in 1993 as a lieutenant. Afterwards, he was employed at Haas Garage and Textile Leather. Mike was named firefighter of the year in 1986 and was very proud of that commendation. Mike was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Mike enjoyed traveling with his wife, Debbie to the New England states and Washington D.C., especially in the fall. He cherished his time with her and they were always seen walking while holding hands. He also enjoyed fishing on his brother's boat and catching perch and walleye on Lake Erie.

Surviving are his sons, Michael (Gem Palacios) Warner, Mark (Tammy) Williams, and Matthew (Jill) Williams; grandchildren, Brennen, Dillon, Caleb, Madelyn and Kaiden; brother, Dick Warner; sister, Sandy Warner; and good friend, Ray Medlen. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deborah; sister, Shirley Tornai; and brother, Larry Warner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where a Last Alarm Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Northwood Volunteer Fire Department in honor of Mike's memory.
