Michael J. Zacharias, 23, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Michael was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 22, 1990 to Charles and Brenda (Kapp) Zacharias. He was a 2009 graduate of Clay High School where he was known for his shenanigans. Michael was known for his contagious laugh, strong sense of humor, and unique dance moves. He enjoyed spending time with his friends installing car stereos and listening to music with a 'œBangin'™ Bass'. Michael enjoyed spending his free time fishing wherever he could. Michael will be remembered for his generosity, open heart, caring and giving spirit and willingness to help anyone. His true love was spending time with his daughter, Addison. Michael is survived by his parents, Brenda and Chuck Zacharias; daughter, Addison Nichole; loving soul mate and mother to Addison, Whitney Disher; brother, Andrew (Amanda) Zacharias; grandparents, Robert (Carolyn) Kapp and William (Rosalie) Zacharias; aunts, Cindi Charles, Lisa (Dave) Shaffer, Barbara Zacharias, Susan Zacharias; uncles, Bobby (Diane) Kapp, Gary (Karen Lynn) Kapp, Steven Kapp; close friends, Joe Baker, Cody Myrice, Willie Steffen, Jimmy Duran, Robert Duran, Sara Sadoski, and the Disher Family; Molly, his four-legged niece; along with many cousins, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his childhood dogs, Magic and Max. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 am in the funeral home where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Private interment will take place at Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Addison Nichole Zacharias College Fund.
