Michele A. Swan, 56 of Elmore, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home. She was born April 14, 1966 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Michael and Betsy (Taylor) Bales. Michele worked over 30 years as an insurance agent for Brown & Brown, Transport, and Blair & Associates. Her greatest joy came from caring for her grandchildren and pets. Much to her family's dismay, Michele was a diehard Michigan Wolverines Fan! She was a longtime member of Elmore Church of God and was treasurer of the Elmore Historical Society. Michele is survived by her husband, Timothy; children, David (Tori Kelley) Cattey, Cullin (Madison Volschow) Liskai, Lydia (Dennis Verbiar) Liskai, Allison (Nicholas) Woods, and Audra Swan; mother, Betsy Bales-Powell; grandchildren, Owen, Colt, Taelyn, Bri, Amie, and Lainey; siblings, Jenny (Lloyd) Rutledge, Amanda (Chad) Davis, and Conley (Sky) Bales. Preceded in death by her father, Michael; and daughter, Kaitlyn Cattey. A Celebration of Michele's life will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:30 am at Elmore Church of God, 310 Congress Street, Elmore, Ohio 43416.
