Michelle L. LaVrar, 50, of Erie, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2014. She was born on February 27, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio to Leslie and Ruth Scsavnicki. Michelle graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School and attended the University of Toledo. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and worked most recently as a dispatcher with Trego. Surviving are her husband, Karl W.; daughter, Chelsea (James Jenkins) LaVrar; grandson, Zachary Jenkins; sisters, Nancy (Mike) Stahl and Tina Barnes-Dixon; brothers, Mark (Edith) Oden and Charles Johnson, sister-in-laws Denise (Emery) Krueger and Lisbeth Stephens; mother-in-law, Norma J. LaVrar and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
