Mildred K. Carr, 92, of Curtice, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Melmore, Ohio on June 30, 1916 to Homer and Fanny (Brill) Beeler. Millie was a member of Elliston United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school class for many years, and had been a past president of the Sunday school class. She was an avid reader and donated many books to the library. In her spare time, Millie enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are her sons. William (Barbara), John, Richard (Anna); daughters, Margie (Fred) Bringe, Violet (Walter) Kerstetter, Darlene (Don) Wells; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Ross (Marge), Robert (Donna) Beeler; sisters, Marjorie Fetzer, Helen Stinchcomb, Dorothy (Paul) Ziegler. Millie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle; grandson, Brett Anderson; brother, William Beeler and brother-in-law, Wayne Stinchcomb.  Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Elliston United Methodist Church, 18045 Elliston Road, Elliston, OH at  11:00 a.m. where the family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the funeral. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy in Millies memory are asked to consider Elliston United Methodist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
