Mildred G. Draper, 91, of Oregon, Ohio passed away with dignity on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 4, 1917 to Martin and Lela (Mohr) Gonia. Mildred retired after 21 years from Gulf Oil in 1977. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star #391 and the Red Hat Society. Mildred and her husband traveled pulling their AirStream trailer to all fifty states, where they had friends and continued to maintain their friendships. In her spare time she enjoyed needle point, playing card, collecting jokes and passing them on to others.
Surviving is her loving children, Robert (Rita) and Draper and Bonnie (Danny) Skirvin brother, Tom Collins. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 65 years, Willard; her brothers, Billy and Arthur; sister, Pat.
There will be no visitation. Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm Saturday and memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
