A wonderful mother, Mildred E. Granger, 90, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Grand Rapids, OH on April 21, 1917 to Francis and Ella (Ludwig) Slee. Mildred grew up in Grand Rapids, Ohio and graduated from Scott High School. She worked several years with St. Regis Paper Company and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Sue Carol (James) Dilger, and Terry Beamon; grandchildren, James (Jodi) Dilger, Sandra (Jeremy) Garber, Darlene Beamon and Bernard (Karen) Beamon; 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Also surviving are step-children, Don (Pat) Granger, Ruth (Al) Studer; 6 step-grandchildren; and many step-great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Melvin Beamon in 1979; second husband Richard Granger; sister, Edna Debbe, Ethel Schultz; brothers, Francis, Richard, and Bernard Slee.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mildred's name are asked to consider the donor's choice.
