Mildred I. Luce, 85, of Toledo, OH passed away September 14, 2004 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born on March 30, 1919 to Fred and Madeline (Janney) Welch in Toledo, OH. Mildred was a former employee of Tiedtke's where she was a cashier for 15 years. She was a member of the Tiedtke's Old-timer Club. Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Large, Norma (Jim) Tully, Joyce (John) Chovan; brother, Fred (Eloise) Welch; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Luce; sister, Lucille Buhr; brothers, Melvin and James Welch; son-in-law, Larry Large. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Wednesday from 2 to9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
